Please read these terms carefully before using LuminWork. By using our platform you agree to be bound by them.
By accessing or using LuminWork ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Platform.
LuminWork provides an online job-matching platform that connects job seekers with employers. Our services include job listings, company profiles, an ATS resume checker, a CV builder, and related career tools. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Platform at any time without notice.
To access certain features you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. LuminWork will not be liable for any loss arising from your failure to comply with this section.
You agree not to: (a) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; (b) post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings or résumés; (c) scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from the Platform without authorization; (d) transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code; (e) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Platform; (f) use the Platform to send unsolicited communications (spam); or (g) impersonate any person or entity. Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination.
You retain ownership of content you submit (résumés, cover letters, profile information). By submitting content, you grant LuminWork a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating the Platform. You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license and that your content does not violate any third-party rights.
All content on the Platform that is not user-submitted (including design, text, graphics, logos, and software) is owned by or licensed to LuminWork and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
Candidate data including resumes, contact details, and professional information is provided solely for legitimate recruitment and hiring purposes. Restricted Use: • Sell or transfer candidate information to third parties • Use candidate data for marketing or promotional purposes • Store candidate data indefinitely without recruitment justification • Share candidate information outside the hiring organization Data Protection Responsibility: Employers accessing candidate information must implement reasonable safeguards to protect the confidentiality of candidate data. Misuse of Data: • Immediate suspension of employer accounts • Permanent removal from the platform • Potential legal action where applicable Reporting Violations: Candidates who believe their information has been misused may report concerns to LuminWork for investigation and appropriate action.
Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information.
This policy explains the limits of responsibility of LuminWork regarding recruitment activities conducted through the platform. Platform Role: LuminWork operates solely as an online marketplace that enables employers and job seekers to connect. The platform does not act as a recruitment agency, employer, or hiring authority. Independent Decision Making: All employment decisions including hiring, compensation, interviews, and job offers are made independently by employers and candidates. No Employment Guarantee: LuminWork does not guarantee: • Job offers • Interview opportunities • Employer authenticity • Candidate qualifications Dispute Disclaimer: LuminWork is not responsible for disputes arising between employers and candidates including but not limited to: • Employment contract disagreements • Salary or compensation issues • Workplace disputes • Termination decisions User Responsibility: Users agree to independently verify job opportunities and employer credibility before accepting any job offer. Limitation of Claims: By using the platform, users agree that LuminWork shall not be held liable for damages, losses, or claims arising from recruitment interactions conducted through the platform.
LuminWork is committed to maintaining a safe platform for job seekers and employers. No Payment Policy: LuminWork does not require job seekers to pay fees to apply for jobs. Users should be cautious of any employer requesting payments for interviews, training, or placement. Independent Interactions: LuminWork only provides a platform connecting employers and candidates. We do not participate in hiring decisions, employment contracts, or salary negotiations. Reporting Fraud: Users who suspect fraudulent activity should report it to LuminWork immediately so appropriate action can be taken. Limitation of Responsibility: While LuminWork takes reasonable steps to detect fraudulent activity, we cannot guarantee the authenticity of all job listings or recruiters. Users should conduct their own verification before accepting job offers.
The Platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. LuminWork does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LuminWork and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use or inability to use the Platform, even if LuminWork has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of $100 or the amounts paid by you to LuminWork in the 12 months preceding the claim.
LuminWork may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including breach of these Terms, without prior notice and without liability to you. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimer, and limitation of liability sections) will continue to apply.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.
LuminWork reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
